BCRC-WA conducts research into breast cancer treatment and care that underpins the treatment we provide to our patients.
In July 2018, BCRC-WA founder Professor Arlene Chan was awarded the Order of Australia for the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honours for ‘significant service to medicine in the field of oncology, particularly breast cancer support, diagnosis and treatment’.
Professor Chan was interviewed on ABC Radio on the day of the announcement. Hear her discuss breast cancer research, our offspring study and how our planned comprehensive breast cancer centre will shape the future of breast cancer care.
