Leaving a Bequest or Gift in your will can help BCRC-WA to continue to provide the highest standard of care to women diagnosed with Breast Cancer through our work in Research and Clinical Trials.

The Impact of leaving a Bequest or Gift

Your Bequest or Gift of any size will have a long lasting impact on Breast Cancer Research and will enable BCRC-WA to continue our work in:

  • Conducting research into the causes, prevention and treatment into Breast Cancer
  • Establishing a comprehensive Breast Cancer Centre of International significance
  • Enhancing the multi-disciplinary care to individuals with breast cancer and their carers to provide greater support and improving quality of life
  • Improving the provision of information about Breast Cancer to their patients and their families

How to make a Bequest to Breast Cancer Research Centre – WA

Your gift can take a variety of forms, we advise that you to seek professional Legal advice prior to leaving a Bequest or Gift in your will.

Suggested Wording:

I give the sum of $… the Breast Cancer Research Centre – Western Australia (ABN 19 134 629 146) for it general purposes and I declare that the receipt of the treasurer or other proper officer of the Breast Cancer Research Centre – Western Australia shall be a sufficient discharge to my executors or trustees.

We understand that making a will is a very personal decision. We therefore encourage anyone considering leaving a Bequest or Gift to BCRC -WA to first discuss their intentions with their loved ones and Solicitor. Should you change your mind at any point about leaving a Bequest or Gift, BCRC-WA absolutely respects your right to do so.
