UPDATED COVID-19 INFORMATION: Patients and visitors must read this information before attending an appointment at the PBCI.

Perth Breast Cancer Institute

Perth Breast Cancer Institute (PBCI) is located on level 4 of the Hollywood Consulting Centre situated in the grounds of Hollywood Private Hospital. PBCI comprises on-site Medical Oncologists, Breast Surgeons, Breast Clinic, Clinical Trials Unit, Breast Care Nurses, Clinical Psychologists and Genetic Counselling. With access to radiology and radiation oncology in the same building, patients can access all the care they need in one location.

This greatly benefits patients and their loved ones by reducing travel times and the associated stress that can be caused by having to manage multiple appointments. The different treatments needed for individual patients are personalised and patients are  guided through the phases of their care.

The PBCI is the realisation of many years’ work and will help us continue to reshape the future of breast cancer. It is a Western Australian first and has the backing of Ramsay Health Care and Hollywood Private Hospital, offering world class treatment, care and support to breast cancer patients and their families.

PBCI Breast Assessment

The Breast Clinic is provided by our Breast Physicians, who are General Practitioners with training and experience in the assessment of an abnormal mammogram or ultrasound, or patients with breast symptoms. Women can be seen in this clinic for a rapid assessment and diagnosis of their breast problem, either through self-referral or by referral from their GP. They can also attend following the identification of an abnormal mammogram from BreastScreen WA.
