Professor Arlene Chan has been inducted into the WA Women’s Hall of Fame for 2017.
Commenting on her accolade, she said it could be challenging to have a family and pursue a busy career, but she believed in general, the opportunities given to women in WA should be applauded.
In total, 15 women were inducted into the Hall of Fame at a ceremony at the State Reception Centre at Fraser’s Restaurant. The women came from a broad range of professions and we applaud the leadership and their talents in their chosen professions.
